I Can‘t Read examines the subject of reading as a movement mechanism. It deals with the different phases the eye passes during the reading process that we are not aware of. When reading, the eye moves continuously along a line of text, while yet no information is absorbed. The reception of information happens after the saccade (quick, eye movements from one eye position to another), during the fixation (the point at which a saccade jumps to), when the eye rests on one position and fixes. In I Can‘t Read an eye tracking system follows the viewers eye movements. Inside the white box there is a written text on a screen, but there is a blurry spot too that always moves exactly where one just want to look at! So I Can‘t Read – a distortion of perception habits.
